Construction of hydroelectric power station
Description of the project: The project involves the construction of a hydroelectric power station with an installed capacity of 1860 MW (4 units). Kambarata HPP-1 is one of the hydroelectric power stations of the Kambarata HPP cascade. Location: Jalal-Abad region, Toktogul district. The amount of energy generated by four units over a long-term average period is 5640 million kWh. A feasibility study for the project was developed by the Consortium between the SNS-Lavalin International Inc. corporation. (Canada) and JSC “Southern Energy Engineering Center” (Russia) AMOUNT OF INVESTMENT: $2.8 BILLION
Construction of a cascade of hydroelectric power stations
Description of the project: the project provides for the construction of a 5-TIGES with a total installed capacity of 439MW with an average annual production of 2667.8 mln Location: Naryn region, At-Bashi district. Implementation will allow increasing capacity and electricity generation to cover growing loads on the energy system AMOUNT OF INVESTMENT: $2.7 BILLION
River hydroelectric power station
Project description: The project involves the construction of a small hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 5.4 MW at a potential site located on the Talas River. The terrain allows the construction of small hydroelectric power stations with free-flow diversion. The location of the SHPP was chosen taking into account the use of the greatest slope with maximum use of the river’s hydropotential. Potential annual electricity generation is 36.8 million kWh. Location: Talas district, Talas region AMOUNT OF INVESTMENT: $8.3 MILLION
Wind power plant
Description of the project: The project involves the construction of a wind power plant with a capacity of up to 100 MW with the placement of two groups (clusters) of wind turbines: – Not far from the city of Balykchy (50 ha plot) with a capacity of 60 MW (at least 30 WPP with a unit installed capacity of 2 MW each) – On a land plot near the village of Ak-Olon (100 ha) with a capacity of 40 MW (at least 20 wind turbines with a unit rated power of 2 MW each), united by a single power supply system. The project will consist of 50 wind turbines, crane bases adjacent to each turbine, internal roads, an internal electrical network, and an electrical substation. AMOUNT OF INVESTMENT: $100 MILLION
